VHS to DVD

Hi 8, Video 8 and Digital 8 to DVD

We transfer every type of 8mm camcorder tape to DVD.

Micro MV to DVD
We transfer the world’s smallest camcorder tape – the Sony Micro MV – to DVD.

Mini DVD to DVD

We convert your Mini DVD Camcorder discs to standard DVD's which, unlike many DVD players, will play your Mini DVD Camcorder discs. We also transfer DVD RAM discs.

Foreign Tapes Converted - PAL/NTSC/SECAM

We produce a single DVD Region Zero standard, meaning you can watch our DVD whichever region your DVD player is. However – in different parts of the world the actual TV screen formats are different so a specific type of DVD is needed to be created. Transfer2 can produce the right DVD for wherever you and your friends are around the world.

High Definition (HDV) Camcorder tapes to DVD

Transfer2 is first with HD. We can transfer HDV camcorder tapes to DVD.

Cine Film to DVD

Transfer2’s Cine Service is the UK’s most comprehensive, using the finest cine artisans in Britain to lovingly transfer your precious cine films directly to DVD. Our cine experts are an elite band with over twenty five years experience. Able to colour correct, edit and repair cine film before mastering to 21st Century DVD. The end result is cine transfers that are strikingly true to the original – at the most competitive prices. We accept every single type of cine – from 50 feet to 1,600 feet reels, 9.5mm, Standard 8, Super8, and 16mm films, with Optical or Magnetic Sound.

Slides, Photos & Negatives

Any size of Slide, Negative or Photo up to A3 size can be scanned at high resolution and collated into a DVD slideshow or CD-Rom for you and your family's enjoyment. You will also receive an additional disc free of charge containing all of the jpegs that make up your DVD. These jpegs are ideal for printing, emailing, adding to letters and sharing with friends.

Tape Repairs

Transfer2 can repair broken, damaged and snapped VHS, VHS-C, Video 8mm and Mini DV tapes. We have in the past received a molten block of 8 Hi8 tapes damaged in a house fire. Our technicians painstakingly picked it apart to get to the disfigured spools inside. We then stripped down new Hi8 cassettes, threw away the new tape and re-wound the customers tape onto the empty spools, then reassembled the spools into the casings. This enabled us to transfer 99% of our customer's precious memories to DVD. Our customer shed tears, Photos, Slides, Nursery drawings etc, were all gone but transfer2 had been able to recover that which was thought to be lost forever.

Betamax to DVD

We transfer good old fashioned Betamax video tapes to DVD - professionally.

Memory Cards to DVD

We can take video footage and stills from your Memory Cards, SD, XD etc and transfer them to DVD.
